GetGaffer is a labour coordination service connecting construction site managers with recruitment agencies. We are the data controller for the personal data we collect through this website and our WhatsApp service.

Job request details including site location, role, and date

Contact you via WhatsApp and email to deliver the GetGaffer service
Broadcast your job request to our network of recruitment agencies
Send you worker confirmations, reminders, and invoices
Improve our service based on fill outcomes and feedback
We do not use your data for marketing purposes without your explicit consent. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party outside of what is necessary to deliver the service.
4. Who We Share Your Data With
To deliver the service, we share relevant job request details with recruitment agencies in our network. This includes your site location, required role, start time, and contact name. We do not share your personal contact details with agencies without your knowledge.
We do not share your data with any other third parties.

We process your personal data under the following legal bases under UK GDPR:
Contract performance — processing is necessary to deliver the service you have requested
Legitimate interests — to operate and improve our service
Consent — where you have explicitly opted in to be contacted by GetGaffer
6. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain your personal data for as long as you are an active user of GetGaffer. If you have not used the service for 24 months, your data will be deleted. You may request deletion at any time — see Section 8.
